Community Service 2010-2011
Community Service Chair: Denise Rotier
This committee coordinates our monthly donations to local charities and service
organizations. Participation by members is voluntary and at the member's
discretion. Details regarding donations and who coordinates each charity are
noted with monthly programs, under the Program Calendar tab of this website.
Members are asked to leave all donations on benches outside of monthly
meeting room.
October: Moore Mart
Coordinator - Bobbie White and Judy Cable
The mission of Moore Mart is to provide care packages to New Hampshire service men and women in the Middle East.
Fun size chocolates, packaged cookies, tooth brushes, tube socks, new pens, plaing cards, small games, etc...
November: Caregivers of NH
Coordinator - Margaret Goodrich
Items collected to support the frail, elderly and disabled of the Greater Nashua and Greater Manchester areas. They provide sevice to individuals who may not receive aid through the human service system and do not qualify for government-assisted programs or sliding fees.

January: Aid for New Moms
Coordinator - Amand Cebrowski
This month we will donate layette items to groups that support women with new babies that are unwed or otherwise in need of assistance with items for thier babies.
diapers, wipes, crib sheets, hooded towels, etc.
February: New Life Home for Women & Children
Coordinator- Muriel McMillan
This organization has many needs, but we are focusing on one area for
donation Items: glass plates, drinking glasses, napkins, toilet tissue, paper towels, foam dinner plates, foam plates, foam cereal bowls, foam dessert plates, any canned goods (especially veggies or tomato sauce), coffee maker.
March: Salvation Army
Coordinator - Denise Rotier
This month we will collect hotel size items such as shampoos and soaps.
April: Animal Rescue League
Coordinator: Denise Rotier
items such as used blakets and towels
The Program calendar of monthly charities and donations is organized each summer. If there is a particular organization that you wish to have included, please contact Denise for consideration for next year. The list of organizations we will support for the new year is finalized by September 1st.
